
Gerard Benvenuto Named Partner of Traub Eglin Lieberman Straus

STRAUS LLP (TELS) is pleased to announce that Gerard Benvenuto
has been elected to become a Partner of the firm.
Working from the firm's New York office,
Mr. Benvenuto has earned a tremendous reputation for his handling
of product liability and medical malpractice cases. He serves
as national litigation counsel for major corporations, participating
in the defense of strict products liability matters commenced
throughout the country. In this capacity, Mr. Benvenuto has
been admitted pro hac vice in numerous state and
federal trials outside of New York. In addition, Mr. Benvenuto
defends insureds in a variety of matters including those arising
out of professional malpractice, construction, premises and
motor vehicle accidents.

Mr. Benvenuto received his undergraduate
Bachelor of Arts degree from Lehigh University in 1989. He
received his J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania
Law School in 1994, where he interned with the United States
Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and was
awarded for distinction in Clinical Advocacy. Mr. Benvenuto
has been a member of the Bar of the State of New York since
1995, and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District
Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts.
