Traub Lieberman is pleased to announce that Cheryl P. Vollweiler has joined the Firm as partner.

Cheryl’s practice focuses on all aspect of insurance coverage and defense. Her areas of expertise include complex insurance disputes, reinsurance, bad faith litigation and products liability. She has particular expertise in toxic torts (including pharmaceutical and herbal/homeopathic products, chemical exposure, latent injuries, environmental, lead and mold), general liability, premises and hotel liability, and international arbitration. Cheryl also has extensive experience drafting insurance policies.

Cheryl sits on several prominent industry association Boards including the Association of Professional Insurance Women, the Financial Women’s Association of New York and the New York State Bar Association, where she co-chairs the Toxic Tort Committee of the Environmental Law Section. Cheryl also sits on the Board of Directors of Wingspan Arts, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation that brings arts education to diverse student groups in the New York Metropolitan Area in the performing, visual, media and literary arts.
