John R. H. Henley is an associate in the firm’s St. Petersburg, Florida office. His practice focuses primarily on insurance defense, including first party property claims, third party liability claims, and coverage disputes. Prior to joining Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP, Mr. Henley was a litigator with a Tampa defense firm.
Mr. Henley graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2012. While attending law school, Mr. Henley was an active member of Stetson’s Moot Court Board, competing in regional, national, and international competitions. Mr. Henley was selected as an Honorable Mention Best Oralist in the 2011 Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria, and was selected to serve as the student coach for the Vis team the following year. He was also a Best Brief Award winner from the National Veterans Law Moot Court Competition held in Washington, D.C. Mr. Henley has participated as a student-member of the Ferguson-White Inn of Court and as an intern for the Honorable Judge Robert Morris at the Second District Court of Appeal. Upon graduation, Mr. Henley was selected as the recipient of the Stephanie A. Vaughan Award for Excellence in Advocacy.
