Robert M. Leff is a partner in the New York office and a member of the Firm’s Management and Finance Committees. He concentrates his practice in the defense of general liability matters including New York Labor Law, construction accidents, adjacent property damage, premises liability, toxic torts and products liability. Mr. Leff also focuses in the area of complex insurance coverage counseling and litigation which includes representing primary and excess insurers in high profile and large exposure cases.
Mr. Leff is a frequent lecturer and author on topics concerning insurance defense and coverage.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the General Litigation Division of the New York City Law Department. In that capacity, he defended the City in a broad range of negligence matters in both federal and state courts and also handled federal civil rights claims and employment discrimination matters.
