Brittany Bermudez is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office who provides her clients with clear and honest counsel based on meticulous preparation and a thorough understanding of the facts and law.

Concentrating her practice on professional and general liability matters, Brittany defends financial-services providers, directors and officers, insurance producers, and attorneys. She also represents employers in employment matters inadministrative proceedings at both the state and federal levels, and also advocates on their behalf in connection with charges brought under anti-discrimination statutes including the ADA, Title VII, and ADEA.

Before joining the firm, Brittany worked at a national law firm defending insureds on a wide variety of civil litigation matters including professional liability, general liability, complex commercial disputes, class action, and employment disputes.

A graduate of Emory University, Brittany earned her law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, where she served as the Note and Comment Editor of the Journal of Transactional Law and Contemporary Problems.

Brittany also served as a health volunteer in the United States Peace Corps, where she conducted workshops training communities on reproductive health and disease prevention. When not serving her clients, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family and traveling internationally.
