Kevin Sullivan understands that a significant part of a lawyer’s job is to provide clients with clarity and with creative and concise options that make their lives easier. As an associate in the firm’s New Jersey office and an active member of the firm’s insurance, cyber-risk, technology, and data security practice group, Kevin is a trusted advisor for clients facing complex and time-sensitive issues.
Kevin has substantial experience advising insurers on all matter of insurance coverage and claim handling issues in state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute forums. Kevin’s practice also includes litigating first-party and third-party disputes arising from multiple lines of insurance, including, to name a few, property, general liability, professional liability, and excess liability policies.
Regularly counseling clients regarding a broad range of data privacy and security issues, Kevin focuses his cybersecurity practice on pre-incident planning and post-incident breach response services as well as the investigation and defense of consumer, vendor, and regulatory claims. He helps clients implement tailored, multi-faceted data privacy and security compliance programs, respond to and manage high-stakes data privacy and security incidents, and defend resulting privacy, contract, and regulatory investigations and litigation.
A graduate of Fairfield University who earned his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, Kevin enjoys spending his time away from work relaxing with family and friends, rooting (against all odds) for his favorite sports teams, and reading. He’ll occasionally even attempt to relive his glory days on local softball fields, golf courses or tennis courts.
