Kimberly Almonte is an associate in the firm’s New York office who focuses her practice on insurance defense litigation. She prides herself on providing thoughtful diligence and dedication to delivering a high level of client service to those she represents.

Kimberly earned her J.D. from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. While at Pace, she participated in numerous mock trial competitions, including the Queens District Attorney’s Office Annual Mock Trial Competition, where she and her team finished in 2nd place against 15 other national teams. During law school, Kimberly was an intern at the Bronx, Westchester, and Orange County District Attorney offices.

Kimberly started her legal career at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted misdemeanor crimes involving domestic violence. She then joined a New York City firm, where she handled divorce, family, and criminal defense matters. Prior to joining Traub Lieberman, Kimberly served as an Assistant District Attorney of Rockland County, where she prosecuted various misdemeanor crimes and conducted Grand Jury presentations.

Outside of practicing law, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family and playing softball.
