With decades of experience representing insurance industry clients, Bob Dennison knows that efficiently obtaining successful outcomes through creative and persuasive advocacy is only part of his job. A partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office, Bob recognizes that insurers need attorneys who provide them with open communication, accessibility, and a dispassionate and realistic perspective.
Deftly handling all manner of insurance coverage matters, including litigation of complex coverage disputes, Bob provides coverage opinions on claims involving primary and excess general liability, environmental, commercial auto, cyber, and professional liability policies. His practice also includes advising excess insurers on complex and large exposure claims as well as counseling insurance company clients in policy drafting.
Bob defends his clients in a wide variety of general liability matters at the trial and appellate level, including cases involving construction defect and construction accidents, trucking, premises liability, and product liability. He also protects the interests of employers in civil actions and before government agencies in discrimination, wage and hours class actions, and other employment matters. His experience includes successfully defending attorneys, insurance brokers, architects, and other professionals in professional negligence actions.
Bob’s insights and perspectives have made him a frequent speaker to insurance clients and organizations on compliance with the California Fair Claims Settlement Practices Regulations and various topics concerning tort liability and third-party liability insurance coverage in California and other states.
A graduate of UCLA who earned his law degree from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, Bob has served on local and regional boards for the Episcopal Church and enjoys spending his time away from the office with his family, golfing, and continuing to learn his craft.
