After almost 45 years of practice, Rich Traub, founder and Managing Partner of Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP for the past 24 years, has announced that he will transition to a new role with the firm. Rich will be transitioning to Managing Partner Emeritus. In his new role Rich will continue to handle cases and will act as a consultant to the firm’s management committee as he moves forward with the next stage of his legal career. The Management Committee has elected Mike Knippen as the new firm Chair and Lisa Shrewsberry as firm Vice Chair. Mike and Lisa have both been long term members of the Management Committee and will assuredly serve the firm well.

When asked to comment, Rich advised the firm that “It has been my privilege to have been one of the four founding partners of this firm and to help lead it from its humble beginnings to its current position of national and international prominence. It has been a team effort by many, all the way, and I’d like to thank every person in this firm past and present, for giving me the honor of being one of the firm’s leaders for the past 24 years.”

Mike Knippen added, “As managing partner, Rich was instrumental in growing the firm into the nationwide practice it is today. We look forward to Rich continuing to practice law as part of the firm and are excited for him in his new role. We expect that over the next several years, with Rich’s guidance and advice to Lisa, myself and the management committee, the firm will continue to thrive and prosper.”
