Traub Lieberman is proud to announce that Lauren Curtis was elected as Senior Director of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel Board (FDCC). She was first elected to the FDCC Board in 2018. Lauren was also named the winner of the Joe Olshan Award, which is given each year to the chair of a Board Committee, Administrative Branch Committee or Project, Initiative, or Ad Hoc Committee whose work has made the most outstanding contribution to the advancement of the FDCC's aspirational goals. It is a very special honor. Lauren is located in the firm’s St. Petersburg, Florida office where she focuses her practice primarily on representing and counseling insurance companies in complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.
Rich Traub, Managing Partner Emeritus, is completing his term as President of the Federation Foundation, the charitable arm of the FDCC. Rich has served on the Board of the Foundation and as Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President, and President for six years. During that time, he helped raise funds to allow the FDCC to fulfill its mission to promote civil justice, foster continuing education, and offer scholarships to deserving students of diverse backgrounds. Rich’s hard work on the Federation Foundation is an extension of Traub Lieberman’s commitment to philanthropic organizations nationwide. Rich works out of the firm’s New Jersey and New York office, and his practice focuses on insurance coverage analysis and disputes, cybersecurity and breach response, mass tort, and professional liability defense. Mike Kiernan, Managing Partner of the firm’s St. Petersburg office, has been named Chair of the Extra Contractual and Vice Chair of the Trial Tactics substantive law sections of the FDCC.
