Jihan Dubose prides herself on building strong relationships with clients and maintaining transparent communication whenever possible. An associate in the Chicago office, Jihan focuses her practice on insurance coverage involving both first and third-party claims. She also represents insurers in cyber coverage disputes involving losses and claims flowing from data breaches.
Prior to joining the firm, Jihan was a coverage and insurance defense litigation associate at two other mid-size firms. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern with the Honorable LaShawn DeArcy Hall of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, a student attorney with the University of Illinois College of Law’s trademark clinic, a privacy law teaching assistant, and the president of the College of Law’s Privacy and Security Law Society. She also conducted her 3L independent study on the federal cyber incident response apparatus.
Jihan is a native of the Chicagoland area and enjoys performing arts, international travel, and cooking.
