Coverage/Claim Monitoring Associate Position

The New York office of Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP, located in Hawthorne, New York, is seeking a coverage/claim monitoring associate. Candidates must be 2009-2011 graduates.

Responsibilities include:

• assessment of professional liability claims (mainly against securities brokers and insurance agents) submitted to insurers

• analysis and determination of coverage issues raised by the claims

• some research of such issues

• drafting of reports with recommendations to insurers and coverage letters to insureds

• continuing monitoring of covered claims, including assessment of defense counsel reports, and assistance with providing recommendations to insurers.

The law firm of Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP is seeking a litigation associate to work with its rapidly expanding property insurance defense practice, based in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida.  Qualified applicants should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience defending property insurance carriers in connection with a wide range of 1st party coverage matters.  Sinkhole litigation defense is preferred.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
