Copernicus Gaza specializes in insurance coverage counseling
and litigation, representing clients in the areas of general
liability, employment practices liability and directors and
officers liability coverage. His practices includes environmental,
toxic tort and asbestos coverage litigation, intellectual
property and advertising injury coverage litigation, employment
practices liability coverage litigation, and insurance policy
drafting. He has litigated through appeal several environmental
and toxic tort declaratory judgment actions nationwide.
Mr. Gaza received his Bachelor of Arts Degree
from Rutgers University in 1990. He received his J.D. Degree
from New York Law School in 1995 where he served as Chief
Articles Editor of the New York Law School Journal of Human
Rights. He is the author of Getting Inside the Jury's Head:
Media Access to Jurors After the Trial, 12 N.Y.L. SCH. J.
HUM. RTS. 311 (1995).
Mr. Gaza is admitted to practice before
the courts of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United
States District Court for the Southern District of New York
and the United States District Court for the District of New
