Mr. Rogers's practice has focused on all aspects of insurance
law, including general liability, errors and omissions, and
directors and omissions coverage. He has dealt with extensive,
complex coverage disputes, through litigation and negotiations,
dealing with contractual and extra-contractual liabilities
in a variety of jurisdictions. In addition, he has provided
insurers with advice on coverage issues presented by claims,
and assisted with effective assertion of coverage defenses.
Mr. Rogers is experienced in the management of "books"
of claims, as both coverage and monitoring counsel. These
include large-scale insurance agent, registered representative
and broker/dealer E&O programs. He is thus well-versed
in legal trends effecting the insurance and securities industry.
Mr. Rogers is also experienced with the defense of tort litigations,
including premises liability, employment and professional
liability cases. His malpractice defense work has involved
lawyers, accountants and life insurance agents. Mr. Roger has further drafted many types of professional liability policies, and frequently provides insurers with advice on the wording of manuscript insurance contracts.
