Richard Traub is a founding partner of Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP and practices in the firm's insurance
coverage, construction litigation, environmental, products
liability (including pharmaceuticals), litigation management
and technology areas. He has represented numerous manufacturers;
design professionals and contractors in all phases of construction
projects; insurers and reinsurers in connection with coverage
litigation; and has been extensively involved with technology,
privacy issues and disaster management. Mr. Traub has published
a number of articles, books and papers dealing with environmental
forensics, technology and e-commerce liabilities; and construction
defect litigation.
Mr. Traub's coverage, pharmaceutical and
construction practices include, in addition to litigation,
contract negotiation, contract interpretation, policy preparation,
claims avoidance, alternative dispute resolution and appeal.
In all areas, he acts as both counsel of record and as coordinating
counsel for national client programs. His role as coordinating
or litigation management counsel includes providing consistency
and quality of defense and claims resolution, acting as a
central, single source of information for the client in pre-claim
and post-claim crisis management, reducing litigation expense
and insuring prompt, coordinated responses for all matters
that are in suit.
