Firm History
From a single office with four partners in Hawthorne, New York, Traub Lieberman has quickly claimed its place as a leading insurance firm that has achieved a national reputation for excellence in legal representation.
The firm was founded on January 1, 1996 and within a matter of weeks it grew to over 10 lawyers. The next two decades would bring expansion across the country with offices in New Jersey, Illinois, Florida, and Connecticut. We’re proud to say that we are still growing, and still serving our original clients from almost 25 years ago.
Each page in the history of the firm shows that we’re committed to serving the diverse needs of the insurance industry. We hold memberships and positions in professional organizations including the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, and the International Association of Claims Professionals, and have been appointed to the presidential council of AIDA U.S. and serve as one of five vice presidents of AIDA World. On an individual level, many Traub Lieberman lawyers have been named to Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America.
Each year brings new opportunities to support causes close to the firm such as the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, Operation Healing Forces, and many others. Throughout the years, we’ve chaired galas, supported law school alumni functions, and cheered colleagues in half marathons, and we have plans to participate in many more this year and beyond.
