Timothy D. Crane

Timothy is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office who focuses his practice on counseling and representing primary and excess insurers in both non-litigated and litigated coverage matters.

Prior to joining Traub Lieberman, Timothy represented clients in both coverage matters and disputes as well as civil liability matters ranging from wrongful death and catastrophic injury to premises and products liability. He calls upon this experience when representing insurance companies, assisting each client in achieving efficient, practical, and value-focused results.

Though an experienced litigator, Timothy understands that positioning a coverage dispute for early resolution outside of litigation may be in the best interests of all. To that end, Timothy recognizes the critical importance of open communication, collaboration, and transparency, as well as the significance of balancing the fine details of each individual matter with the bigger picture of his clients’ needs.

Timothy earned his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law, and currently resides in Chicago’s North Side with his spouse. Outside of the office, Timothy enjoys spending his free time playing music, traveling, or simply enjoying the company of family and friends.
