Traub Lieberman Partner Lisa Rolle Wins Motion to Dismiss in Child Victim Act Matter

Traub Lieberman Partner Lisa Rolle secure dismissal of an action filed pursuant to the Child Victims Act pending in Supreme Court of New York, New York County. In the action brought against a Catholic Archdiocese and related entities in which the Plaintiff alleged abuse, the Plaintiff was unable to identify the alleged abuser, therefore impeding the ability to establish notice. Based on the Plaintiff’s inability to identify the abuser, the court agreed with Traub Lieberman that Plaintiff would be unable to establish notice to its client, dismissing the action.
