Traub Lieberman is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our General Liability and Construction Defense team in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. This role offers hands-on experience handling all stages of litigation, from drafting motions and managing discovery to attending court appearances, conducting depositions, and engaging directly with clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of their cases in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general liability and third-party construction defense matters independently from inception through resolution.
• Draft high-quality motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, offering updates and strategic guidance.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and contribute to case strategy.

Qualifications 

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Florida.
• 3-5 years of experience in litigation with a strong understanding of case management. Experience in general liability and construction defense is a plus.

Position Summary

Traub Lieberman is seeking an Associate (1–3 years) to join our team in White Plains, New York. This role provides hands-on experience across a broad range of complex litigation and coverage matters, including independently managing cases, conducting depositions and discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, performing legal research and analysis, preparing client reports, tracking time entries, and representing clients at case management conferences, mediations, and pre-trial settlement conferences.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership of their matters while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution with appropriate supervision.

• 1–3 years of experience in general liability, product liability, construction defect defense litigation, and/or insurance coverage.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Associates are also eligible to participate in the firm’s performance-based Associate Bonus Program, awarded at the firm’s discretion.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $105,000 and $120,000, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

In addition to the base salary, attorneys are eligible to participate in the firm's Associate Bonus Program. This program is performance-based, and bonuses are awarded at the firm's discretion.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with commercial general liability and professional liability insurance coverage issues and good-faith claim-handling issues, including independent case management; preparing coverage opinions and coverage position letters and responses to settlement demand letters; drafting pleadings and motions; and attending mediations, case management conferences/court hearings. The successful candidate must possess exceptional research and writing skills, be a well-organized self-starter, and be able to manage tasks and deadlines independently.
